1. Who sells to you

The seller and manufacturer is Grindest OÜ, registry code 14400401, Sõbra tn 12, 50107 Tartu, Estonia. Lokka is our brand. Our website is lokkasystem.eu.

Email: support@lokkasystem.eu. We do not publish a phone number; email is how you reach us.

Grindest OÜ is not registered for VAT. Our prices are final and no VAT is charged.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover orders placed on lokkasystem.eu for delivery to the EU countries listed at checkout, and the €10 Founder reservation.

Buyers in the United Kingdom buy through our Etsy shop. Those purchases are not covered by these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

3. The Lokka System and prices

The Lokka System is a modular paint storage station for miniature painters. It is 3D-printed in PLA in Tallinn and arrives assembled.

Batch 01 is 40 numbered Lokka Systems. Each Batch 01 Lokka System carries an engraved Founder plate with its number.

Prices are in euros and are final. No VAT is charged. The delivery fee for your country is shown at checkout before you pay.

4. The €10 Founder reservation

A €10 reservation holds a Founder number for you and gives you 24 hours of early access on Sun 18 Oct 2026, before pre-orders open to everyone on Mon 19 Oct 2026.

A reservation is not a purchase of a Lokka System.

After you reserve, we email you a single-use code. When you order your Lokka System, you enter the code at checkout and the €10 is credited to the Lokka System order.

You can ask for the €10 back at any time before the code is used, by emailing support@lokkasystem.eu. You also have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the reservation (see Right of withdrawal).

If you later withdraw from a Lokka System order on which you used the code, the €10 is refunded as part of that order.

5. How ordering works

Pre-orders open on Mon 19 Oct 2026 (Sun 18 Oct 2026 for reservation holders). Each order can contain one Lokka System, plus add-ons.

At checkout you choose your Lokka System size and add-ons and enter the paint brands you use and your colour choices, so we can make your Lokka System. Before you pay, you see the total price, the delivery fee and the dated ship slot for your order. You can correct your entries at any point until you pay.

The contract between you and Grindest OÜ is concluded when your payment succeeds and we send you the order confirmation email. Please keep that email; it holds your order details.

6. Payment

You pay at checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe).

Your card details go directly to Stripe and are not stored by us.

7. Delivery

We ship from Tallinn to the EU countries listed at checkout. The delivery fee is shown before you pay.

Pre-orders ship in dated slots. The slot for your order is shown before you pay. Slot 1 ships 16–20 Nov 2026.

If your order ships later than its slot, you may cancel it for a full refund.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. Please check the parcel when it arrives. If the packaging is damaged, photograph it before you open it, then photograph the contents, and email the photos to support@lokkasystem.eu with your order number. Keep the packaging until we have answered, because the carrier needs it for a damage claim. This does not affect your legal guarantee.

If you do not collect a parcel and the carrier returns it to us, we pay that return shipping and cancel the order, and the goods are ours again. We refund the price of the goods; the delivery fee is not refunded. We email you a reminder to collect the parcel before this happens.

8. Christmas orders

Order by Mon 30 Nov 2026 (Tallinn time) for delivery to Estonia, Finland or Germany, and your order arrives before 24 Dec 2026, or you get your money back. {{CHRISTMAS_LATE_REFUND_TERMS}}

Christmas orders can be returned until 31 Jan 2027, even after the 14-day withdrawal period has ended. After the 14-day period, we accept a return only if the goods are unused, complete and in their original packaging. The return label fee applies. Apart from that, the rules in Right of withdrawal apply, including the exception for the engraved Founder plate.

These promises are given in addition to your statutory rights and do not reduce them.

9. Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For a Lokka System order, the 14 days start on the day you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. If the order arrives in several parcels, they start on the day you receive the last one. You can also withdraw before the goods arrive.

For the €10 reservation, the 14 days start on the day the reservation contract is concluded.

To withdraw, use the “Withdraw from contract here” function in the site footer (lokkasystem.eu/withdraw), or email support@lokkasystem.eu with a clear statement that you are withdrawing. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. We acknowledge your withdrawal by email. It is enough to send your notice before the 14 days end.

Exception: the engraved Founder plate is made to your Founder number. It is personalised, so the right of withdrawal does not apply to it (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)). The rest of your order keeps the right of withdrawal. The plate is a free Founders' bonus, so this exception never reduces your refund.

Sending the goods back: after we receive your withdrawal, we email you a prepaid return label. Hand the goods to the carrier with that label no later than 14 days after you told us you are withdrawing. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods: the fixed return label fee for your country, shown on our Returns page (lokkasystem.eu/en/returns), is deducted from your refund.

Refund: we refund all payments received for what you withdraw from within 14 days of receiving your notice. If you withdraw from the whole order, this includes the delivery fee, up to the cost of our cheapest standard delivery. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown proof that you sent them, whichever comes first. We refund to the payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you pay no fees for the refund.

Return the goods unused, complete and in their original packaging. You are responsible for any loss in value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you could in a shop, and we deduct that loss from the refund.

10. Our guarantees

Grindest OÜ gives these guarantees in addition to your legal guarantee. They do not replace or limit it.

• Fit or reprint: if your paints do not fit the inserts, we make new inserts for you free of charge. Email support@lokkasystem.eu with your order number and the paints that do not fit.
• Free insert swap until 31 Jan 2027: {{INSERT_SWAP_SCOPE}}. Email support@lokkasystem.eu with your order number.

11. Legal guarantee

You have the statutory 2-year guarantee of conformity under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act and Directive (EU) 2019/771. If the Lokka System or an add-on is faulty or not as described, and the lack of conformity becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, you can ask us to repair or replace it free of charge. If that is not possible, or we do not do it within a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract and get your money back.

To make a claim, email support@lokkasystem.eu with your order number, a short description and a photo of the fault.

We do not limit this guarantee. Nothing in Our guarantees, Use and safety or Liability reduces it.

12. Use and safety

Intended use: the Lokka System is made for storing paints, brushes and hobby tools on a desk or table, indoors.

Please follow these points:

• PLA softens with heat. Keep the Lokka System away from radiators, hot cars, direct sun and open flame.
• It is not a toy. Keep small parts away from young children.
• Do not stand on it, and do not load it beyond normal use.
• Keep paints closed and wipe up spills.
• You are responsible for using the Lokka System as described here.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage caused by using the Lokka System contrary to Use and safety.

These limits never apply to:

• loss caused by our intent or gross negligence
• death or personal injury
• your rights under the statutory guarantee of conformity (see Legal guarantee)
• our liability for defective products under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act and Directive 85/374/EEC, or the EU rules that replace it

14. Design licence

The Lokka System is built on the Vault modules designed by USSA. We print it in Tallinn under a USSA Vault commercial licence.

USSA designed the Vault modules. It does not make or endorse the Lokka System. Grindest OÜ is the seller and manufacturer and is responsible to you for the Lokka System.

15. Complaints and disputes

If something is wrong, please email support@lokkasystem.eu first.

If we cannot agree and you live in Estonia, you can apply to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA).

You can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

16. Governing law and language

These terms and your contract are governed by Estonian law. This does not remove the protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I).

The contract is concluded in English.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order. Each version shows the date it was last updated.

18. Model withdrawal form

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we process:

• Order and contact data: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number. Stripe Checkout collects these when you pay. The phone number is for the carrier.
• Order details: what you ordered and paid, your Founder number where you have one, and the paint brands and colour choices you enter at checkout.
• Reservation data: your email address, the €10 payment and the single-use code we send you.
• Withdrawal data: what you enter in the withdrawal form or send us by email to withdraw.
• Support emails: what you write to us and our replies.
• Waitlist data: what you enter in the waitlist form, which is run by {{WAITLIST_PROVIDER}}.
• Your country: the site derives your country from your IP address to show the right delivery information. We do not store it.
• Server logs: our host Vercel records technical data such as IP addresses when you visit the site.
• Analytics: anonymous usage data about how the site is used, including a country derived from your IP address (see Cookies and analytics).
• Card details go directly to Stripe and are not stored by us.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We need your name, email address, shipping address and phone number to take and deliver your order. Without them we cannot fulfil it.

• To take, make, ship and support your order, and to handle the €10 reservation, withdrawals, returns and guarantee claims: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep accounting records: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, Estonian Accounting Act).
• To understand how the site is used through anonymous analytics, and to prevent payment fraud: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time.
• To send waitlist emails: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with the services we need to run the shop:

• Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe): payments and fraud prevention.
• Vercel: hosting of the site and server logs.
• Resend: transactional email, such as the withdrawal acknowledgement and your reservation code.
• PostHog (EU cloud): product analytics, without cookies.
• YouTube (Google): only after you press play on a video. Videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com. When you press play, YouTube receives your IP address and device information and handles them under its own privacy policy.
• {{WAITLIST_PROVIDER}}: the waitlist form.
• {{CARRIER}}: delivery. The carrier receives your name, shipping address and phone number.
• {{ACCOUNTING_SERVICE}}: bookkeeping.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Stripe, Vercel and Resend may process data in the United States. Where applicable, these transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. PostHog processes analytics data in its EU cloud.

6. How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it:

• Accounting records: 7 years, as the Estonian Accounting Act requires.
• Other order data: until the end of the legal guarantee period, 2 years after delivery.
• Withdrawal records: the same, 2 years after delivery.
• Reservation data where no Lokka System is ordered: {{RESERVATION_RETENTION}}. The payment record is kept as an accounting record.
• Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Server logs: {{VERCEL_LOG_RETENTION}}.
• Analytics data: {{POSTHOG_RETENTION}}.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site sets one cookie of its own: lokka_lang. It remembers your language choice, is set only when you use the language switch, and lasts 1 year.

We use PostHog (EU cloud) for product analytics in cookieless mode, so it sets no cookies. It derives your country from your IP address.

YouTube videos load only after you press play, via youtube-nocookie.com. After that, YouTube may store information on your device under Google's own policies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected (rectification)
• have your data erased
• restrict how we use your data
• receive your data in a portable format (portability)
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before
• complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), www.aki.ee, or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live
